Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) started the registration process for Assam CEE 2024. Applicants can now fill out the CEE 2024 application form; the last date to submit it is 3rd April. Before you apply, check out details like eligibility criteria, age limit, course offered, etc.
About: The CEE 2024 shall be conducted by Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU). This entrance exam is for admission to the B.Tech 1st Semester Programme in the State of Assam. It is based on the syllabus set by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.

Assam CEE Exam Pattern
The entrance exam will last 3 hours and consist of 120 MCQs, each worth 4 marks. All questions will be from the syllabus as set by AHSEC. There will be 40 questions for each subject. i.e. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
The question paper will be in English and Assamese language.

Eligibility for Admission
To be eligible for admission, a candidate must check the conditions before applying:
- Must be an Indian citizen
- A resident of Assam(must have a PRC of Assam).
- There is a Central Government employee quota, but you must have proof of that.
- Must pass the qualifying exam (intermediate) with a minimum of 45% (40% in case of reserved category). OR 3 years Diploma in Engineering & Technology.
- Age limit: 17 to 21 years as of 1 August 2024. The upper age limit for reserved category candidates has been relaxed (3 years for SC/ST).
- A Character Certificate is a must.
Application Fees: Rs 1100/- non-refundable
Assam CEE Application Form
Online CEE registration is open, and the last date is April 3. Fill in your details to start the application. A valid email and mobile number are required since all communication will be done through these channels.
- Log on to the official website, i.e., astu.ac.in
- On the homepage, navigate to “CEE-2024 Online Application Submission.”
- You will find all the important information about the exam on the landing page.
- The First and most important step is to go through the “INFORMATION BROCHURE.”
- Fill out the Online Application Form carefully and upload a scanned photograph and signature.
- Once done, keep the print copy of the application form for future use.
Applicants need not send any other documents to the ASTU office.
