The CEETA PG exam was conducted successfully on 10 March 2024. The answer key is expected to be released soon online. Anna University conducts counselling for admission after the scorecard is released. Few candidates were absent among the 5281 candidates registered for the CEETA PG. The exam was conducted in 40 centers in 15 cities throughout Tamil Nadu.
About CEETA PG: The CEETA Postgraduation exam is for admission to M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan. Degree Programmes. This entrance exam scorecard is accepted by Annamalai University, Anna University itself, and Government and Government-Aided Engineering Colleges affiliated with Anna University.
Normalization of CEETA PG marks
The CEETA PG question paper is divided into different parts: Part 1, Engineering Mathematics; Part -2, Basic Engineering & Sciences; and Part 3, subject (related to Discipline). In part 3, the average marks may vary from discipline to discipline. This is the reason the university has a special formula to evaluate this part:
Part 3 = (X+r)m.
X is the adjustment factor, r(raw marks scored by candidates), and m (multiplication factor) to level the averages of all subjects.
When the result is published, Candidates who appeared in the CEETA-PG will receive actual marks
and percentile scores. Percentile Score =(Y/total candidates appeared in CEETA PG)* 100. Y is the number of students who scored lesser marks than the candidate in that examination.

CEETA PG Answer Key 2024
Candidates who appeared in the Common Engineering Entrance Test & Admissions Post-Graduate need to wait for the answer key. No unofficial answer sheet is expected to be released just after the exam. The Official CEETA PG answer key is expected to be released within 7 days of the exam date.

CEETA PG 2024 Counselling
Counselling for admission to ME./ M.Tech./M.Arch./ M.Plan is expected in the first week of July. Short-listed candidates must attend online counselling to get admission to the courses.
