Eligibility criteria

A. One must apply to you

• Masters in Engineering/Technology or science, arts, SS with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST).
• Bachelors in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST).
• MBBS/BDS (minimum 60%, 55% for SC/ST)
• M.Pharm in first class (55% marks for SC/ST).

B. One of the Following conditions must also apply.

• Valid GATE/GPAT
• JRF for CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICAR/ICMR etc
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience.
• BTech from IIT with CPI/CGPA of 8 or more.
• NEET PG, NEET AIIMS, and NEET MDS scores as applicable.

You need to choose the category to apply. Like Institute Fellowship: Choose this when planning to be a full-time scholar at IIT Bhilai. Other options are sponsored Full-time or part-time and External full-time or part-time. Details are mentioned in the official notification.

Before filling out the online application form, applicants must read the instructions in the brochure carefully. There is no other way to apply; IIT Bhilai is not accepting hardcopy applications. You will need a separate application for each discipline. Just follow the instructions to apply online.

• Log on to the official website of IIT Bhilai, i.e., www.iitbhilai.ac.in
• Navigate to the “Admissions” section on the homepage.
• Select Phd in the drop-down menu.
• On the landing page, you will get all the important details and a link to apply.
• Upload documents like Photographs, academic certificates, mark sheets, and caste certificates (if applicable).
• Make Payment

Application Fee: Rs. 200 (Rs. 100 for SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates).
