INI CET 2024: Application Form, Eligibility, Exam Pattern, Exam Date

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, is all prepped to invite applications for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET 2024) for the July session for admission to PG courses. The admissions will be given to MD/MS/M.Ch/DM/MDS of AIIMS, New Delhi, and other universities. The registration link to register and apply for the exam will be available on the official website of AIIMS shortly. Candidates are required to complete the application form only after the Examination Unique Code (EUC Code) generation.

Every year, AIIMS conducts the exam twice a year for the January session and July session. The applications are only accepted through online mode, and candidates are requested to apply before the last date. INI CET 2024 for the January session has already been completed, and the testing authority is getting ready to organize the second exam session in May.

INI CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must ensure they satisfy all the eligibility criteria mentioned by AIIMS for admission into various PG courses at participating INIs for the July 2024 session.

• Candidates must possess an MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6 yrs/MCH-6yrs and a BDS degree for MD courses of a University recognized by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India.
• For all INIs, candidates must have completed at least 12 months of internship by the July session.
• Candidates must check the eligibility criteria set by specific INIs to know whether they are eligible to take the exam.
• Candidates in the SC/ST categories must have 50% marks in aggregate. For the OBC/EWS category students, the aggregate must be 55% marks.

INI CET 2024 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern plays a key role in preparation for the entrance exam. So, we advise our readers who will appear for INI CET 2024 to check the exam pattern before kickstarting their preparation.

• The exam paper consists of 200 questions in a multiple-choice model.
• The exam duration is 180 minutes.
• The exam paper will be given in English language.
• It is a computer-based exam that will be conducted in around 64 exam centres across the country.
• One mark will be awarded for each correct answer, and a 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

INI CET Registration Fee

Before submitting the application form, students are required to pay the application fee. The fee differs for different categories and can be paid through net banking, debit card, or credit card. For General/OBC candidates, the application fee is Rs.4,000. For SC/ST candidates, the application fee is Rs. 3,200, and for PwD, the fee is exempted.

The candidate must first register with the basic candidate information and then use the applicant login zone to complete the application process.

• Visit the official website of AIIMS – aiimsexams.ac.in.
• Go to the applicant login zone on the landing page and enter your registration ID and password to proceed.
• If you are a new candidate, click on the New Registration zone and register using your basic details.
• After registration, an Exam Unique Code (EUC) will be generated to apply for the July 2024 session.
• In the next step, fill out the application form, upload the required documents and internship certificates, and pay the application fee.
• Select the exam centre and submit the application form.
