Uni-GAUGE 2024: Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility

Uni GAUGE is the entrance exam of the Educational Rating and Assessment Foundation (ERA Foundation). It administers online exams for admission to graduate engineering courses in its member universities.

To be admitted into UG courses in participating member universities across India, you need to take the Uni-GAUGE entrance exam. The exam will be conducted online in around 200+ cities across the country.

The Uni-Gauge member universities offer diverse courses to the students, like BE and B.Tech courses, but it should be noted that they are specific to the university. Each university has a different set of courses, and students must go through the list of courses each university offers before applying.

Moreover, you can find direct links to the university’s official websites to learn about the courses offered, the number of seats available, admission criteria, eligibility criteria, reservation, fee structure, etc.

Uni-GAUGE 2024 Important Dates

Here are the important dates that a student must take note of before applying for the entrance exam conducted by the exam body.

Uni-Gauge-E Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

Students must first fulfill the eligibility criteria to appear for the Engineering Entrance Exam 2024.

• For admission into B.E./ B.Tech courses through the Uni-Gauge E exam, students must have a second PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized state/central education board.
• The mandatory subjects of study include physics, mathematics, and English. Chemistry, biology, biotechnology, or other technical vocational courses are optional subjects.
• Students must have separately passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For SC, ST, and OBC candidates, it is 40%.
• Students who are yet to appear for the 10+2 exams this year are also eligible to appear for the entrance exam.

• The question paper will be given in English only.
• Each correct answer carry 1 mark and there is no negative marking.
• The paper consists of 180 questions, 60 from each subject like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• The questions are given in multiple-choice format.

The exam will be held in the morning slot from 9 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon slot from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Uni-Gauge E Entrance Exam Application Fee

The Uni-Gauge E Entrance exam 2024 application fee is Rs.1,600/- plus the convenience fee. The fee must be paid through credit card, debit card, or net banking only. No other mode of payment is entertained.

Uni-Gauge E Entrance Exam 2024 Application Process

• Go to the examination authority’s official website, i.e., www.unigauge.com and click “Register”.
• You will get two options on the landing page: login or register.
• Click on register and complete the candidate registration.
• Once done, log in to your profile.
• Click on ‘Go to application’ and select the exam you are applying for.
• Upload documents.
• Pay the application fee.
• Preview all the entered details and click on the “Submit” button.
• Keep the printed copy of application form future reference.
